Uploading photos

 

How many photos can I upload?

 

You can upload between 1200 to 1500 photos depending on their size.

 

Is their a limit to the size of the photo?

 

The file size limit is 4MB. Photos are saved at 60-80KB or approximately 500 x 375 pixels.

 

How do I upload photos to my Travel Journal?

 

You can upload photos from the 'Add an entry' page in your Travel Journal'. You can also edit an existing entry at anytime and add more photos.

 

Please take note that we only support the uploading of .jpg, .jpeg and .png files from the Web Site.

 

Soon you will be able to upload photos from your compatible international cell phone.

 

How much does it cost to upload photos?

 

It is free to upload photos from the Web Site.

 

Who can see my photos?

 

You can change who's allowed to see your photos in your Travel Journal by going to the 'Settings' page. There are three privacy settings that you can choose from:

  1. Public: visible to everyone who reads your Travel Journal.
  2. Family and friends: visible only to people who have your 'visitor' password.
  3. Private: visible only to you.

 

How do I add a caption to a photo?

 

You will see the option to "Enter a short caption for the photo" below the upload box on the 'Add an entry' page. Simply type your caption in the text box. This caption will be visible to anyone who has permission to view the image.
