RatesDomestic calls Your France SIM card allows you to choose between 2 calling plans. The default Classique plan is usually best. Per minute rates vary depending on which recharge voucher you purchase.
International Calls International rates are per minute for outgoing calls while in France.
Roaming calls You can use your France SIM card to make calls in 19 countries around Europe and the West Indies. The 19 countries are split into 2 zones and 2 different rates apply for each zone. Calling limitations that apply while roaming with your France SIM card
Incoming text messages are free. Outgoing messages are 0.30 EUR ($0.36 USD) each. CoverageActivating your serviceYour France mobile phone number will be dynamically assigned to your mobile phone once you arrive in France by simply following the instructions outlined below. To activate your service:
* You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the SIM card into your international mobile phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your mobile phone. Making and receiving callsHow to make a call To make an international call from your France mobile phone dial 00 (or +), followed by the country code (1 for the US), area code and phone number. How family and friends call you Family and friends need to dial the international prefix, followed by the country code 33 and your mobile phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). Recharging your accountTo add credit to your France SIM card, you will need to purchase recharge vouchers, also called Mobicarte recharge cards. You will find these vouchers at most tabac shops, convenience stores, and petrol stations in France. They are available in 3 denominations: 15 EUR, 25 EUR and 35 EUR (includes 45 EUR of credit). Do not purchase another France SIM card when your credit is depleted! You only need a recharge voucher! Contacting Customer ServiceCustomer service for your France SIM card is available 24/7 by dialing 722 from your mobile cellular phone or 0892 701 722 from a landline phone in France. Service lifeCredit will expire every 2 months, however incoming calls can be received for up to 8 months. If the credit is not used in 2 months it is expired. If you do not recharge your account once every 8 months, your SIM card and phone number will be recycled and any remaining credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. Handset compatibilityThis SIM card requires an unlocked international GSM mobile phone.
