Activating your account

1. Call Optus Customer Service on 1300 737 252
2. You will be asked for the rate plan you would like, your SIM card number (found on the back of your activation guide) and you 10-digit Optus prepaid activation number.
3. Upon activation, you will receive your new mobile phone number.

Recharging your account

To are two ways to recharge:

1. Buy an Optus Pre-Paid Mobile Recharge Card of your choice - $30, $50 and $100 AUD from over 6,000 participating outlets in Australia.
2. Dial 444 from your mobile and register up to three different credit cards to use for recharge. Once you have registered, you can recharge 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
   * You need CLI (Caller ID) activated on your handset to use the recharge service.
